TREND TUESDAY- HEALTHY SKIN

Everyone knows that good makeup starts with good skin. I am always asked what I recommend for skin care products or what I use. One of my recent favorites is OLAY Regenerist. I love the way this moisturizer feels on my skin! I use it at night time because it does not have an SPF in it. ( I always suggest wearing sunscreen during the day--it's truly the only "anti-aging" product around!) Regenerist is a chock full of green tea, antioxidants and Vitamin E, so it hydrates and gives the skin a smooth and firm appearance. And, for the price ($19), you can't beat it! You can find it almost any drugstore.

BENEATH THE GOWN

I just had to share this wonderful service with all of my brides! We all know that the perfect gown starts with the perfect foundation but where do we find custom fitted lingerie? I have the answer! Meet Josie Jolan of Beneath the Gown. Josie is a talented seamstress and I might add, a very kind soul. She recently opened a lingerie boutique located within the White Dress by The Shore in Clinton, CT. Along with her friendly personality, she offers complimentary bra fittings and specializes in selecting the perfect foundations for every gown. TREND TUESDAY-GRAY LIPS

I was always worried about the 80's making a come back and it seems like it's happening. First it was the wide belt and now black eyeliner and bangs. We are going to see a lot of GRAY and in the most unusual places. Gray eyeshadow is one thing but gray lips? Really? I'll admit, I like dark polish on my toes from time to time but that's where I draw the line. The runways in Paris, Milan and London really rocked this look. I would have to say, it's a little too rock and roll for me.....and sort of morbid. Please don't try this at home.

Trend Tuesday-Hair Accessories and Styles

I love to wear my hair pulled back, especially in the spring and summer months when the humidity is high. Since I have exhausted the pony tail option, it's time to find other fun ways to wear my hair up. The leather comb in this picture looks fashionable and works perfect under a bun-so easy!

Jen Aniston always looks perfectly natural and pretty. I admire her easy and relaxed style. The front braid is definitely my favorite hair style right now. I am wearing this look both casually and when I get dressed up! It's instant style without the fuss.
