Fashion Makeup

Every once in a while I get the chance to be really creative with my makeup skills.  Since I'm in the wedding industry and my niche is a natural look, it isn't too often that I  get to experiment with bold colors and think outside the box with my overall approach.  I actually forgot how much I love to doing this kind of makeup.  So you could imagine my delight when my friend Sarah True introduced me to photographer,  Adrien Broom.  Take one look at her website and you'll understand.  She is madly talented and her style is so original.  I, of course, jumped at the opportunity to get my old MAC kit out of the closet and start painting!  It was seriously like a rebirth.  I'm patiently waiting to see more photos from this amazing 2-day project which took place on a beautiful landscape in Old Lyme, CT.  The models were styled in frilly, pastel, vintage dresses with beautiful organic, hand made jewels.  We even had a goat on-location for some of the shots.  Yes, a goat.  Very cool.  More to come....

  1. WOW the picture and the makeup are both amazing. I am a natural makeup girl myself. I am looking to try editorial looks to at least know how to do it because I am actually learning photography now. I am trying to be a double threat. I am a new follower and hope you will follow me too!
