Photo Shoot with Adrien Broom

Last Monday I had the pleasure of  working with the remarkable Adrien Broom.  We all met at The English Garden, a vintage shop on Chapel Street in New Haven.  Tove from Tova's Vintage shop provided the wardrobe which consisted of ornate gowns and frilly dresses from the 1920's and 1950's.  The models arrived and it was time for hair and makeup!  This was the most fun I had with makeup in a long time.  The skin was smooth and matte,  lips were stained with deep burgundy reds and black eye liner was my best friend.   Adrien brought along one prop in particular that may have stole the show-- a little fox.  Not a real fox, a stuffed one.  Poor guy.  Nonetheless, he helped bring our foxy lady theme to life.  I hope you'll enjoy a small taste of what we created.  More beauty shots to come...
