I just had to share this wonderful service with all of my ladies, especially brides! We all know that the perfect gown starts with the perfect foundation but where do we find custom fitted lingerie? I have the answer! Meet Josie Jolan of Beneath the Gown. Josie is a talented seamstress and I might add, a very kind soul. She recently opened a lingerie boutique located within the White Dress by The Shore in Clinton, CT. At Beneath the Gown, you'll find a collection of exclusive designer lingerie labels featuring french European fine laces and hand-made silks. Along with her friendly personality, Josie offers complimentary bra fittings and specializes in selecting the perfect foundations for every gown and/or outfit. In addition, Josie designs and creates by hand, her own stunning bustiers, lingerie and gowns! Make sure you reserve your spot- she is by appointment only!
Wedding row tip of the day from Josie:
Shop for your undergarments PRIOR to your first gown fitting. Having the proper foundation in place for your fitting will help you save time and better envision what the final result will look like.
