Feature Friday By Emily Denny

Makeup for this look was inspired the oil painting, Bacchus (1595) by Italian Baroque master, Caravaggio.  The image (as shown below) displays a youthful Bacchus, with his dark curly hair, reclining in a classical fashion with grapes and wine leaves.  The original portrait is found in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.

I really enjoyed creating this look.  I wanted the lip color to resemble the color of wine so I chose a rich shade of berry from Jennie's signature makeup line.  The color is called Laquer. (available soon for purchase ON-LINE!  Stay tuned for the launch of our new, e-commerce website!)

I'll be sharing more from this collection of work in a few weeks!  Please check back soon!  Until then.....

Have a great weekend, JF Beauties!

XO,
Em
