Beauty Tip Tuesday: How to preserve your hair color

You spend a fortune at the salon getting your hair colored, right?  Here are a few tips for maintaining color so it looks better, longer!

1.) Avoid washing your hair for a few days after your color appointment ( I'm lucky I can go for an entire week!).  I know, this might be hard for some, but your color is less likely to fade if you don't wash it right away!

2.)  Sulfate-free shampoos are detergent-free and much more gentle on color treated hair.  Try rotating a sulfate-free product with a color-preserving shampoo.  I use this one by Loreal  and love it!
